It’s time to give my kitchen cabinets and drawers a refresh! This corner cabinet, filled with every day dishes and serving bowls, is where I’ll begin! Time to grab my step stool and cleaning supplies and start taking everything out!
We recently used the bowls with the funny faces when our granddaughters were visiting! The winter bowls are great too! Soon they will be kept towards the back of the cabinet and the white bowls moved forward! It works!
With the cabinet cleared, I wiped down the inside of the cabinet and let it air out while I went through all of the stuff I took out. It’s always interesting to see if anything that doesn’t belong there found a way into the cabinet. With five of us constantly getting into the cabinet you just never know! I did find a small colander tucked way in the back that hasn’t been used and will be donated. I also found an outdoor dinner plate that needs to be stored with the rest of the set in another area! With that, the cabinet is ready to reload!
A few quick tips:
- Make the best use of adjustable shelves, it’s worth it!
- Keep frequently used items most accessible.
- If an organizational product is needed, take measurements to be sure it fits.
- Only keep what you need and is useful. No more, no less!
- Play some music and make it enjoyable!
Have a wonderful day!
