Sugared pecans roasting in the oven, Christmas music, and the spirit of Christmas everywhere! It’s hard to believe Christmas is only a few days away! These last few days will be spent wrapping the last of the gifts, grocery shopping prepping food, baking cookies and…. round two of preparing one of our favorite holiday treats – Sugared Pecans!
A delightful aroma fills the house
The aroma that fills our entire house while the pecans are slow roasting is amazing! And it’s fabulous how the smell of cinnamon brings everyone to the kitchen just to try one of these tasty treats!
Having these pecans on hand throughout the holiday season is wonderful. I’ve used them for holiday gatherings, hostess gifts, stocking stuffers, and gift baskets! They are great on salads too! I will store some in the refrigerator and roughly chop a few and sprinkle them on a spinach salad with pear, pomegranates, and goat cheese! Simply Delicious!
