How My Daughter-in-law Achieved Great Results Organizing Their Garage! – Others can do so too!
My daughter-in-law Sabrina, last Saturday morning, decided it was time to bring order to their garage. The garage had started to become unorganized and packed full of so many things. Determined to get this done, she jumped right in and started cleaning out, grouping, categorizing, organizing and making a “yard sale” pile.
Here are a few after pictures showing how Sabrina utilized shelves to store the like items she grouped together according to use and purpose. This will make it very easy for everyone in the family to find what is needed and to put things away!
Sabrina was able to use things within her house to contain and organize their belongings. She said, “no purchase was needed in organizing the garage, once I laid everything out in sections on the floor, I found all the supplies I needed through the process of elimination”. During the process, Sabrina uncovered a few of Jason’s beer signs that had been shoved away for 8 years. Being tired of telling him to throw them away, she decided to put them to use as garage decor!
Hence, it’s always great to add style and personality to every space!
A Most Satisfying Result
“The most satisfying result is not feeling overwhelmed, trapped, or claustrophobic when going into the garage anymore. We are constantly running in and out to grab shoes, umbrellas, school backpacks, toys, flashlights, sunblock, and the list goes on and on. Leaving the house faster! Asking the girls to grab their shoes no longer ends in ME having to get them! Leaving for the beach with our pre-made bag is a breeze! And when your husband doesn’t remember where he placed something…I kindly say, ‘read the labels!'” – Sabrina Stroble
Above all, it was so much fun talking about this project with Sabrina! I’m thrilled that she had such great success organizing the garage!
